You have free choice on how to live your life. Others can tell you what to do but it is up to you
whether to do as they say or not. Most people think that if they are in debt, the only way they
are going to get out of debt is to get another job or work longer hours. There’s one problem with
this theory, sooner or later you are going to run out of hours. You need to learn how to leverage
your time and make money work for you and not the other way around. Too many of us have
become a slave to earning a living. What happened to the hopes and dreams that you had as a child?
The only thing that is holding you back from a better life is the limitations that you impose on yourself.
You need to get the right mindset and when you do that you will find that you are the master of your own destiny.

I have had a few comments this week on the site that say that the idea that thoughts are your future is rubbish. The people that think this are quite at liberty to do so and in their case it most certainly is. You see they cannot comprehend that everything in this world started with a thought in someones mind. Whether it was a meal or a building, a game of tennis or a new car design it started as a thought in someones mind first. You see most people do not even know that they have a subconscious mind. They learn the basic requirements to ‘get by’ in this life and they dare not believe that there is something better. If you do not learn what makes you the person that you are today how do you expect to change the process and therefore change your life.

If you think you are a victim of circumstance then that is what you are. However if you choose to change that circumstance, no one can stop you except your own disbelief. If you think that you can do something then you can do it but if you tell yourself you cannot do it then you are equally correct. You have the choice, no one can force you to do anything “You are the master of your own destiny”

Stepchildren they matter too

With todays changing trend there seems to be an awful lot of stepchildren around. We seem to drift into a relationship and before we’ve really worked on it we decide it would be good to have a baby. Then something happens and instead of working at the problem for one reason or another we end the relationship. Then we get into another relationship and expect our children to just automatically accept our new choice. We get so wrapped up in our own new life that we sometimes forget that this also includes the children now. Our new relationship is going to have an impact on our childrens future, they too will have to make an adjustment and sometimes that is not easy. Just because we like our new partner it doesn’t mean that they do and just because our new partner likes us it doesn’t mean that they are going to like our children. We need to make an extra effort to get to know our stepchildren and let them know that they are included in the relationship. When Will The Child Abuse Stop?

People are speaking more openly today about child abuse. It seems everytime we turn on the tv or open a paper there is another case of either child cruelty or child abuse. Severeal celebrites and famous people have come forward with their own stories of their childhood in order to highlight the cause. Child abusers do not care about the effect it has on their victims and yet when they are caught they are the ones who shout the loudest about their rights. It’s all very well sending them to prison if they are caught, how does that make their victims feel better? They go into prison where they get four free good meals a day, they get top of the range games and dvds, they get tv’s, they don’t have to worry about whether they can afford the electric and heating bills. They don’t have to worry about finding employment and the officers have to be very nice to them so that they don’t upset them. It’s about time this country put the victims rights first, no matter how much counselling the victim receives it can never take away the pain they have suffered at the hands of these beasts. The victims become withdrawn and troublesome and usually end up with the wrong type of friends or none at all. The world shuns them because they are labelled troublemakers and they then end up blaming themselves because they are convinced they did something wrong not the abuser. It sometimes takes years or even decades before the victim can face the truth and some never do. If you have suffered from abuse either mental, physical or sexual and you’ve tried ringing abuse clinics you will find that most of them are not available a lot of the time and in some areas they don’t even exist. Yet the beasts who commit the crimes against them can get daily counselling. How many more children will be damaged before we do somethoing about this disgusting crime? My father used to tell me that crime didn’t pay but because of the stupid human rights bill it seems that this is the only profession that does pay.

Love is the most widely used word in any language. It can be used in so many contexts. ”I love You” ”I love this dress” I love fishing” I love to dance” “thank you love” Saying the word love can both help build a relationship and destroy a persons confidence. If it is used wisely it can enhance your life but if it is used unwisely it can lead to destruction. The love of power for instance is not a good emotion. The love of people however is a good emotion. We should all think before we use the word love whether it is the truth or just a fleeting emotion because someone has done us a favour.

Pain And Laughter Tears And Joy

Love can bring pain as well as laughter. It can bring tears as well as joy. It can be the most beautiful thing in the whole wide world or it can seem like the biggest curse. When love blooms it is wonderful but when it dies a part of us dies with it. The world indeed would be a better place if we paid more attention to loving each other that to hating each other. A simple smile can travel the length of the country. You smile at someone and they smile back and they will smile at the next person they meet and so on and so on.

My Father

My father taught me a lot about love. He taught me that love means having genuine concern for the other person whether it be, you mother and father, your children, your brother or sister or just the old lady down the street. He treated everyone he met with respect. He used to tell me “If you can’t do someone a good turn never do them a bad one.” He also told me “Never let the sun go down on an arguament.” He was not embarrassed about showing his love in public. He devoted his life to making sure that his wife and children (and there were six of us) knew without doubt that we were loved and appreciated. He also told me that “love is the one thing you can give that costs nothing just a little effort.” I hope that I have lived up to my fathers expectations.

4Love is not comparing each other with a past partner but understanding that we all have different qualities to give.

Over the next few weeks I will be talking about how love really does make the world go round. About how to get focused into getting more out of your life. About how to put a bad relationship behind you and move forward. It’s so easy to fall in love but when that love ends it can hurt like hell and you think yo will nevetr get over it. How many times has it happened before and yet you do manage to get over it. Maybe it’s just that this time you don’t want to get over it but instead want to get back the love you have lost if you look in the blogroll you will find several ways that you can regain your lost love and again feel that love makes the world go round.

Love and hate are the two basic emotions we experience. It is the way that we use them that determines the outcome. For example if you came home and found your house flooded you would feel annoyed and angry. You would think about all the cleaning up you had to do and the calls you would have to make and the forms you would have to fill in. However you could think of it another way. What about “oh good now I’ll get rid of that carpet that I didn’t like and I can get the house redecorated.” Thinking positive changes the mood and changes the outcome.
