Christmas is a special time,
A time for us to care,
To show our love for all men,
A time for us to share.
A baby boy born in a stable
his bed a lowly manger,
He came into this world of ours
To lead us from the danger.
He tried to teach us right from wrong
To walk a righteous path,
He tried to teach us to love each other
And put away our wrath.

This baby boy grew to a man
And suffered so much pain
He gave his life upon a cross
That we may be born again,
That we could have our freedom
Away from pain and strife
That we may find a peaceful place
A different kind of life.

Why must we still use weapons?
And tear each other apart.
Why can we not replace hate and greed
With a tender heart?
There is enough in this world
For all of us to share.
If we would only use our minds
To show others that we care.

Our minds are what determines
Our future and our fate.
So won’t you put away your weapons
Before it is too late.
Instead of using force, use love
Put your mind into action
Instead of using hate and greed
Use the law of attraction.

Goodwill to man and peace on earth,
How wonderful that would be.
If only you would open your eyes and hearts,
Then you would plainly see
We have a duty to each other
We are one heart and soul
And peace throughout this world of ours
Should be our only goal.
